The Hermitage has moved!

Rima's heart and feet have taken her to the hills of Scotland where Hermitage paintings & Things will continue to be created happily. The thatch of the original Hermitage will always hold a special place in her heart but the Hermitage that you see here will ever travel with her.

Rima's animation for THE WOODS - the new single by Polly Paulusma is finished and here for you to see. There's a big version here if you are patient! The song is the first release from Polly's new album Fingers & Thumbs...

Have happened:

15th February - March 18th 2007:

Rima's original artworks were part of a month long joint exhibition at the Obsidian Gallery in Buckinghamshire. See www.obsidianart.co.uk

15th-17th December 2006:

Rima sold more wares (her illustrations mounted onto wood) at the Shakespeare's Globe Frost Fair - a festive winter event in keeping with traditional frost fairs held on the frozen river Thames in the 16th century. There was seasonal music, food, sword fighting and more!

3rd December 2006:

Rima took part in an Open Studio event. A chance for the public to view Rima's work at the Hermitage.

25th-26th November 2006:

Rima & her parents sold their wares (illustrations and sculptures) amongst the minstrels and marvels at Ludlow Medieval Christmas Fayre. See www.ludlowcraftevents.co.uk for details.

28th September 2006:

The Hermitage is reviewed at the wonderful Endicott Studio for Mythic Arts.

21st - 24th August 2006:

Rima ran a children's theatre art and design workshop at Gunnersbury Park Museum where Narnia was recreated from old egg boxes, paint and glue (and a few other things) as a set for a mini performance of CS Lewis' "The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe".

6th July 2006:

Rima painted live to Georgian Harmony singing by group Stumrebi... Venue: Art in Common's Welcome To The Tent, Walpole Park, Ealing W5.

15th June 2006:

Rima and her Accordion recorded the soundtrack of CRAB SOUP - an animation by Frances Lewtas & Marco Indic.

30th May 2006:

Rima painted live to improvised music at the Foundry. Music by Evrah (voice) Ivor Kallin (viola) Sandy Kindness (clarinets) Steve Moyes (guitar, cello, xaphoon).
